We are a team located in the Canary Islands with headquarters in Tenerife and Las Palmas. We cover all the islands and perform all the implementation, maintenance and support to hotels in the Canary Islands directly from the islands in a local and close way.

Aibo Solutions arises from an idea, a need. We started working in the hotel world from the bottom, seeing how it works and how the sector evolves. We see all the needs and shortcomings that currently exist in hotel management and we decided to get down to work... We decided to start a business!

Thus was born Aibo Solutions, a company founded to support the 360º strategy of hotels offering from one place all the services to facilitate the management, control and increase sales of hotels.

Why Aibo? They are our initials (Alejandro and Ilja) and also, we tell you a curiosity. Aibo means Partner in Japanese. And that's what we are. We are the partner you need to take your hotel to the next level. Let us tell you more about us.

We started working in the hotel industry at a very young age and we fell in love with this world. Just as we saw the good, we also saw the bad... the shortcomings in management and the difficulty to control everything and get all the information.

That's where the idea came from: from a need that gave rise to a solution. That's how we founded Aibo Solutions.

Ilja

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Hello! My name is Ilja, I am co-founder of Aibo Solutions. My background and professional experience has led me to specialize in Revenue Management, Yield, Channel Management, and Hotel Marketing. I have extensive professional experience having led teams in leading companies in the sector.

In addition to my professional experience I have a master's degree in leadership and development of teams and people and another at Cornell University in New York - Ithaca. I also trained with industry leaders in the so-called cradle of revenue management in the prestigious town of Las Vegas having performed actions in Diamond, MGM, Mariott and Vdara.

I have developed my professional career in different international and local chains, starting my career in H10 Hotels, passing through Meliá International, Hilton and Dreamplace Hotels & Resorts. I have been part of the management committee and board of directors of different relevant companies in the sector.

Currently I am a founding partner of the company Aibo Solutions where I work for different hotels such as Hotel Paradise Park, Dreamplace Hotels & Resorts, KN Hotels, Hotel Playa Olid, Broncemar Beach... and I would love to add the name of your hotel or hotel chain to this list.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

- Since 2000 I have been applying revenue management and hotel marketing in different hotels, international chains, local chains and management companies, having had professional experiences in four different continents: Latin America, North America, Europe, and Africa.

- Dreamplace Hotels - Commercial Manager, Senior Revenue Manager, and Direct Sales Manager.
- In the last 6 years I have been co-founder of Aibo Solutions, our hotel management, hotel marketing, revenue management, direct channel and ecommerce optimization company, using innovative and cutting-edge techniques and tools.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

- Since 2013 I have been practicing both classroom and online training in different areas such as hotel segmentation, revenue management, hotel marketing, e-Commerce and direct channel.
- I am a professor in different public institutions on the island, as a teacher of different masters in private sector companies, in addition to conducting continuous training in different hotels in the Canary Islands.

Alejandro

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

My name is Alejandro, and I am co-founder of Aibo Solutions. I'm here to tell you a little about myself and my experience in the hotel industry. Thanks to the family tradition and its business, I had the opportunity to know the tourism environment, both holiday and business since the beginning of my professional training. Adapting to changes and managing, leading work teams, has been the common denominator of the last 25 years.

I like to share and contrast knowledge and over the years I have been able to combine the profession of hotel management with training.

The beginning of my professional career coincided with the first steps in Yield Management that I had studied at Hotelschool The Hague in the 90s. The Internet allowed me to implement more technical approaches to the commercial area through knowledge and new technological tools. Currently I am part of the teaching staff at the ITC (Canary Islands Institute of Tourism).

The Fataga Hotel and Business Center was the perfect place to develop and consolidate those new dynamic commercial policies that were only applied in important urban environments.

In the management of the Hotel Santa Catalina 5* I have the opportunity to reach a new level of technological resources and the possibility of introducing a commercial policy more in line with the times and the category of the establishment.

Due to my strong interest in being aware of the changes that are taking place in the tourism world, I join the Tourism Revolution Ecosystem (TRE). The work is based on an important part of research related to the new tourism business cycle. The project materializes in Innwise, where my efforts are focused on maximizing sales results using Revenue Manager.

At the beginning of 2014 I create ZonaRev, the first company specialized in Revenue Management located in Gran Canaria. A few years later, the collaboration with Ilja's Revparity was born, the beginning of what today is Aibo Solutions.

ADMINISTRATION AND HR

Hello! My name is Lucy and I am in charge of administration, accounting and human resources management at Aibo Solutions. I have been working in the hotel industry for many years and I think I know this sector first hand. That helps me in my day-to-day work here.

I am still training today. I believe that keeping up to date in terms of training is the basis for evolution and development in any profession. And that's where I am right now.

I like my job and I think that shows in the results. At Aibo Solutions I am in charge of team and client management. I'm in charge of human resources. Because that's what we are: people.

On the other hand, the more serious part: the administrative and accounting part. I am in charge of keeping up to date the company's invoicing and the administrative management with clients and suppliers.

Eunice

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Hello! Before I talk about my work experience, I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Eunice. I'm from Lanzarote, so the tourism sector has always been a nice job temptation. Finally, in 2018 I started my journey in the sector.

I am a curious person, so I like to be in continuous training and keep growing professionally. I love working in a team as I believe that the success of a company lies in a good professional team.

After finishing my Master's Degree in Tourism Planning and Management, where I took several training courses in the field of Revenue Management, I began my work experience in the sector.

In my case, I started working as a hotel receptionist and little by little I have been growing and working in different positions as a commercial and booking agent until I returned to the world of Revenue Management as a revenue.

Currently I help companies to maximize the profitability of their sales by analyzing the market, studying the competition and pricing.

Silvia

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Infinitely passionate about tourism, I consider my clear objective to be growth in the sector through tireless effort, enthusiasm and hard work throughout my professional life. My qualifications and experience qualify me for a wide range of challenging work situations. I am proud to confirm my persistence, diligence and empathy. After all, this job involves dealing with delicate situations and giving a quick and efficient response to the client is crucial.

The feeling and need to grow professionally is inevitable, although, if there is one characteristic that defines me and I can attribute to my work style it is: loyalty to my clients.

I would say that my education has led me to develop a mentality focused on constant change, the ability to solve problems and, therefore, the need to advance in my professional career.


I would like to contribute as much as possible and contribute to the development of companies.

I am from Seville and I started in this sector at a very young age, in 2019. Since then I have had the good fortune to train in different jobs such as tour guide, guest relations agent and front desk agent. Working for 5*GL hotel companies introduced me fully into the world of excellence. In that way, I was trained and integrated in my person the way in which service makes the difference: attention to detail, personalized experience, exclusivity and price justified by added value. Since then, I have not left this dynamic.

My academic training and experience in the sector has been based on Revenue Management: maximizing profitability through the study of the compset, dynamic pricing according to demand and seasonality, channel management, attention to KPIs, benchmarking and much more, such as informing properties about the reports collected and actions taken. I have also been trained and worked on everything related to the fundamentals of Marketing focused on tourism companies. Other trainings such as the IATA Amadeus Global Distribution System are important to highlight.
